AI-based peer-to-peer (P2P) learning program for future software developers

With their idea, CodeDoor.org e.V. and the ReDI School of Digital Integration gGmbH & -Mun- gUG want to make tailored, online and location-independent training measures possible with the help of a peer-to-peer learning program, in order to assist as many learners as possible in obtaining high-level qualifications. The platform’s aim is to put people in touch with ideal training partners, thereby helping them to enter the IT labour market irrespective of the funds at their disposal for additional training. This would make an important contribution to securing the supply of skilled labour.

Why are you a strong team?

Our organisations were founded parallel to each other and we have known each other for a long time. We work on the same challenges, albeit from two different sides. This makes us the perfect fit! Our joint project will not only intensify our collaboration, but will also benefit other organisations. This is special motivation!

Explain your idea in three sentences.

We want to train AI on the CodeDoor platform to assemble ideal teams of learners. In order to achieve optimal results, they should be at a similar level in terms of knowledge and learning pace, for instance. These teams will be supervised by ReDi School of Digital Integration and work together on projects via the CodeDoor platform.

What makes your idea special?

If our project is successful, it will not only benefit ReDi students, but also learners all over the world, who will be able to use the CodeDoor platform to form ideal teams.

What are the next steps?

We are currently planning our first project, which will involve organising teams of ReDi students using AI. Parallel to this, the IT team is working on the implementation. Our pilot group will complete the first test run by Easter 2022.
