EBENBILD - encountering oneself with AI

Traditional coaching services involve a lot of staffing and costs and are often not very innovative. With their project idea, MfW Studio ix gUG and the association Museum für Werte e.V. want to use AI to make personal development services available to society as a whole, thereby democratising it. The EBENBILD project idea takes an innovative approach to personal development and debates about the future role of the technology in personal development.

Why are you a strong team?

We are different people with different skills and backgrounds. This creates diverse perspectives and a wide range of possible approaches to tackling the challenges that lie ahead. This means we can be as focussed and creative as possible in our work with the project idea.

Explain your idea in three sentences.

Until now, AI has been largely absent from the area of personality development. However, historical experiments and initial studies have demonstrated promising possibilities in this area. Indeed, technology-assisted personality development offers huge potential to reach the wider masses through peer-to-peer coaching and user-friendly services. By interlinking current coaching structures (spatial experience) with video formats, we want to create innovative personal development services that promote social skills and emotional intelligence.

What makes your idea special?

The aim is to democratise personality development services for wider society. The current transformations in our working world and social upheaval affect us all. Mental health and self-analysis is becoming increasingly important. However, classic coaching services offer relatively low levels of innovation with high staffing and cost requirements. As an artistic, creative model of exploration, EBENBILD presents an AI application that opens up new paths in personality development.

What are the next steps?

We will begin by developing a prototype for intense testing and iteration. Next, the concept will be translated into an interface and design language in order to make it as user-friendly as possible. The third step will focus on scientific validation: in which setup does the AI application work particularly well? In which setup is it less effective?
