    The second award ceremony

    On 8 February 2022, Federal Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Hubertus Heil, distinguished the twelve most promising ideas at the virtual award ceremony for the idea contest ‘AI is what we make it!’. Once again, the second round of the contest highlighted the potential of innovative AI technologies to benefit the common good and social progress.

    Second Civic Innovation Platform award ceremony on 8 February 2022

    On 8 February 2022, the most promising project drafts for AI providing benefits for the common good will be awarded during the award ceremony of the second round of the Civic Innovation Platform’s idea contest.     Comprehensive information on the second award ceremony

    In the ideas pitch of the second round of the Civic Innovation Platform's ideas contest, the nominated project teams demonstrated innovation and creativity to develop ideas that benefit the common good. The twelve most promising ideas of round two will be awared by Federal Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Hubertus Heil in a virtual award ceremony on 8 February.     The second pitch of the idea contest

    Whether addressing innovation in administration, improved labour conditions or the promotion of inclusion and participation, the project teams invited to the virtual pitch on 10 November demonstrated what all their ideas have in common – having a vision of AI that provides benefits for the common good and of social innovations.

    Idea contest enters round two – the next steps

    The submission deadline for project ideas for the second round of the idea contest ‘AI is what we make it’ was on 7 October 2021. The next step is the digital pitch on 10 November ‒ further information is available here.
