The Civic Innovation Platform is now part of Civic Coding!

In order to contribute to a strong AI innovation network for sociotechnical design, we have integrated the restricted community area of the Civic Innovation Platform within Civic Coding, true to our CIP motto ‘AI is what we make it.’ ‘Civic Coding – Innovation Network for AI for the Common Good’ is a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS), the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV). The aim is to create structures that promote the emergence of social innovations from the heart of society and the societal development and use of AI providing benefits for the common good, above and beyond the remit and responsibilities of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS). Here, you can find more information about the Civic Coding initiative.

Benefit from an interdisciplinary innovation network now!

With the integration of CIP within Civic Coding, the former CIP community is now part of the Civic Coding community and thus part of a growing innovation network. In this way, the full potential of the diversity of ideas and networking across sectors, industries and even departments can be harnessed. In turn, a wide range of perspectives and expertise come together to develop promising ideas for AI providing benefits for the common good – to strengthen our society, our environment and our cohesion.
